Food & Drink

For a leisurely lunch or a sumptuous supper, there are few better places to eat in Wallingford than The Queen’s Head. We use fine, fresh, local ingredients sourced from Oxfordshire and Berkshire suppliers, putting a great British twist on pub classics and favourites from all over the world.

Enjoy superb sandwiches at lunchtime, elegant meals in the evening - and join us on a Sunday when our fabulous roasts take centre stage. It’s worth booking a table in advance, especially for Sunday lunch, as places are limited.

And however many times you return to dine with us, you’ll always find a different delicious dish to try. Our menu changes throughout the year to maintain its seasonality, and to bring new, exciting flavours to the table.

Of course, you might just fancy popping in for a pint. With Fuller’s London Pride and Gales Seafarers available alongside well-kept seasonal and guest ales, we’re a popular watering hole for Wallingford’s ale aficionados.

Wine lovers are well catered for too. Our cellar is stocked with wonderful wines from all around the world, with Riojas and Bordeaux joined on the wine list by New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs and South African Chenins.

Whatever you choose - enjoy!
